Four local long-term care facilities are in the midst of COVID-19 outbreaks. Grafton County Nursing Home was placed in outbreak status for the second time this year with 45 reported cases (18 residents, 27 staff, no deaths), according to the Department of Health and Human Services on Wednesday. DHHS also reported continued outbreaks at Coos County Nursing Home (29 residents, 35 staff, no deaths), Lafayette Center in Franconia (39 residents, 33 staff, one death), and The Morrison Skilled Nursing Facility in Whitefield (34 residents, 10 staff, 3 deaths). Overall there are 33 active outbreaks statewide, according to DHHS.
