Ticks are now digging into the spring landscape, and experts say knowing how to prevent tick bites and what to do if bitten will reduce the chance of serious illness. The Lamoille Valley Medical Reserve Corps will share information about protection from ticks in a May 15th presentation from 6-6:45 p.m. at Craftsbury Public Library. Corps personnel will explain tick behavior, prevention techniques, the diseases that ticks carry, and how to safely remove a tick. They will have information handouts, as well as tick removal kits for participants. For more information, contact the library at (802) 586-9683 or email@example.com.
